Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakkatuh, semoga kita semua dalam keadaan sehat dan selalu dalam lingdungan Allah SWT.
Pada artikel edisi kali ini kita akan membahas tentang zakat. Zakat merupakan rukun Islam yang hukumnya wajib dilaksanakan oleh setiap orang Islam.
Zakat bukan hanya zakat fitrah yang kita keluarkan di penghujung bulan suci ramadhan. Terdapat berbagai jenis zakat seperti: zakat binatang ternak, zakat emas dan perak dan lain-lain.
Definisi Zakat Secara Bahasa
Secara etimologi, zakat berasal dari kata bahasa Arab (النماء) an-nimaa’ yang berarti bertambah-tambah atau tumbuh.
Zakat juga bisa berarti sesuatu yang memiliki banyak kebaikan (زاك), keberkahan (البركة) dan penyucian (التطهير) atau bisa juga diartikan sebagai (صفوةُ الشيءِ) sesuatu yang spesial.
Terminologi Zakat
Zakat secara istilah syara’ adalah:
اِسْمٌ لِمَالٍ مَخْصُوْصٍ يُؤْخَذُ مِنْ مَالٍ مَخْصُوْصٍ عَلَى وَجْهِ مَخْصُوْصٍ يُصْرَفُ لِطَائِفَةٍ مَخْصُوْصَةٍ
Zakat adalah nama bagi suatu harta tertentu yang diambil dari harta tertentu dengan cara yang khusus dan disalurkan ke golongan tertentu.
Dalam kamus al-maany disebutkan bahwa arti zakat secara istilah adalah;
حِصّةٌ من المال ونحوه يوجب الشرعُ بذلها للفقراءِ ونحوهم بشروط خاصة
Zakat adalah bagian dari harta dan sejenisnya yang diwajibkan syara’ untuk diberikan kepada orang faqir dan yang lainnya dengan ketentuan tertentu.
Kategori Zakat
Menurut syeikh Burhanuddin Ibrahim al-Bajuri bin Syeikh Muhammad al-Jizawi bin Ahmad dalam kitabnya Hasyiah al-Bajuri, kategori zakat ada 5 macam.
1. Almawasyi
Almawasyi jamak dari kata (ماشية) yang merujuk kepada binatang-binatang yang berjalan, atau bisa diartikan binatang yang digembala atau binatang ternak.
Ada tiga jenis binatang ternak yang wajib zakat yaitu unta, sapi atau kerbau, dan kambing atau domba.
Maka, tidak wajib menunaikan zakat ternak selain tiga jenis binatang yang telah disebutkan, seperti misalnya kuda, kijang, keledai atau hasil perkawinan antara kijang dengan kambing contohnya, ini tidak wajib zakat.
Syarat Wajib Zakat Binatang Ternak
Adapun syarat yang mewajibkan untuk mengeluarkan zakat binatang ternak artinya jika syarat syarat tersebut terpenuhi maka harus menunaikan zakat binatang ternak. Syaratnya ada 6, yaitu:
1. Islam
2. Merdeka (bukan hamba sahaya)
3. Milik Tam (milik sepenuhnya)
4. Sampai nisab (hitungan)
5. Sampai haul (mencapai satu tahun)
6. Digembala
2. Emas dan Perak
Emas dan perak juga masuk dalam kategori zakat dalam islam, adapun syarat wajib zakat amas dan perak ada 5 perkara;
1. Islam
2. Merdeka (bukan budak)
3. Milik Tam
4. Sampai nisab
5. Sampai haul/tahun
3. Zuru’ (Pertanian)
Zakat pertanian yang menjadi makanan pokok juga termasuk dalam kategori ini, yaitu tanaman yang buahnya atau hasilnya dijadikan makanan pokok, seperti gandum, barli, lentil, dan beras. Atau apapun yang menjadi makanan pokok suatu wilayah seperti halnya jagung. Zakat makanan pokok ini ada kadar takarannya yang akan kita bahas di artikel mendatang.

3. Digarap dan ditanami oleh manusia, bukan dibawa air atau angin.
4. Merupakan makanan pokok
5. Dapat disimpan dalam waktu yang lama
6. Cukup nisab (5 ausuq)
4. Zakat Buah-Buahan
Zakat buah-buahan disini adalah tamar/kurma dan anggur/zabib. Adapun syarat wajib zakat kurma dan anggur kering ini yaitu;
1. Islam
2. Merdeka
3. Milik Tam (Kepemilikan sempurna)
4. Sampai Nisab
5. Zakat Harta Perniagaan
Zakat harta perniagaan disini termasuk barang dan pelayanan. Adapun syaratnya ada 6, yaitu;
1. Islam
2. Milik Tam (Milik Sempurna)
3. Cukup nisab
4. Sampai tahun
5. Ada niat berniaga dan memperoleh keuntungan.
6. Mata benda perniagaan tersebut halal.
