Cara Membuat Footnote Bahasa Arab Untuk Skripsi dan Sejenisnya
Biasanya, ketika membuat sebuah tulisan berbahasa Indonesia di microsoft word yang memerlukan footnote seperti artikel, karya ilmiah, atau skripsi. Posisi footnote dan garis separatornya berada di sebelah kiri. Lihat contoh di bawah ini…
Footnote adalah catatan kaki yang biasanya berada di paling bawah halaman untuk menjelaskan identitas kutipan yang kita ambil dari buku, jurnal, dan lain-lain. Footnote berisi:
Nama pengarang
Koma
Judul buku (Miring)
Koma
Kurung
Lokasi
Titik dua
Penerbit
Koma
Tahun
Kurung
Koma
Halaman
Nah, untuk footnote dalam bahasa Arab kita menggunakan sistem RTL (Right To Left), atau penulisan dari kanan ke kiri. Bukan hanya footnotenya yang bergeser ke kanan tapi kita juga perlu agar garis separator footnotenya juga berada di sebelah kanan atau dari kanan penulisan.
Caranya sangat mudah, silahkan ikuti langkah-langkah berikut ini;
1. Pastikan settingan penulisan di Ms. Word berbahasa Arab 2. Tulis kutipan atau isi footnote bahasa Arab seperti biasa di halaman ms. Word 3. Letakkan kursor di ujung kutipan footnote teman-teman 4. Pilih menu draft di sudut kanan bawah ms word
5. Akan muncul tampilan baru, lihat gambar dibawah ini
6. Pilih menu Reference > Insert Footnote 7. Kemudian, akan muncul garis seperator dan angka footnote di menu bawah 8. Pilih menu All footnote 9. Kemudian pilih menu Home > Klik Right-to-left text direction
10. Pilih menu Footnote seperator 11. Kemudian pilih menu Home > Klik Right-to-left text direction 12. Isikan Nama Pengarang, Judul Buku, (tempat terbit: Penerbit, Tahun Terbit), halaman. 13. Selesai
